Diese Arbeit dekonstruiert und rekonstruiert Pansori eine traditionell koreanische Aufführung und reflektiert damit den modernen Weg unserer Gesellschaft. Erarbeitet als Klanginstallation, stehen die Klangobjekte auch für eine neue Form des Instrumentenbaus für elektroakustische Musik.
Buksori orchestral group ist eine Installation wie auch live performance von Matthias Erian und wurde im November 2011 während eines artist in residence Aufenhaltes für “sound+:pansori” erarbeitet und durch “Asia-Now” produziert.

Pansori means place (pan) and sound (sori) in Korean, the loudspeaker in combination with the buk-drum becomes the place (Pan) where the sound start to exist, as well as the space which presents the music to the audience.
